Please read the following important information to ensure you have a comfortable stay:

Noise and quiet time

• Please no loud music or noise after 11:00PM. Sound carries easily through the walls and ceilings. Please be considerate of the neighbors

Parties and large gatherings

• Absolutely no parties or large (more than 4 people) gatherings allowed at the apartment.

• There are great bars and pubs nearby if you're looking to have a good time with a larger group. (Check out McGregor's Pub or Jaegerberg - the food is delicious)

Cooking

• When using the range, be careful not to spill anything on the coils. Spills on the coils will burn and cause smoke anytime you try to cook afterwards

• When using the oven, please take care to ensure nothing melts/drips in the oven. This will cause smoke and potentially set off the smoke detectors

• Please turn on and use the range hood when cooking to avoid smoke from permeating the apartment and setting off the smoke detector

• In case of a fire, please use the fire extinguisher located on the cart next to the kitchen sync, and contact us immediately.

Pots, pans, dishes and utensils

• Please make sure to wash, dry and put away all dishes and utensils before you check out!

Coffee

• Feel free to use the drip coffee machine or Mocka for your morning cup o' joe!

• Please make sure to throw away any used coffee grinds in the trash before you check out!

We love furry four-legged friends and we're happy to host you and your best friend at our home! But please follow these rules if you plan on bringing your pet:

Bringing your pet

1. We are happy to accommodate you and your pet! But please make sure you've paid the $50 pet fee when staying with us

2. The apartment can only accomodate (1) one large dog (> 40 lb) or (2) small/medium dogs (< 30lbs). This is for your and your furry friend's comfort!

No Pets on the bedroom bed!

1. We all love snuggling our pets in bed, however other guests might be uncomfortable or have allergies pet dander.

2. We deep clean the apartment and change the linens for every reservation, however, do not allow pets on the bed out of courtesy to other guests

Leaving your pet alone in the apartment

1. Hunter is very pet friendly! Most of the restaurants around the area have outdoor dining and/or are pet friendly.

3. Please DO NOT leave your pet in the apartment alone! If you do, you will be asked to leave.

Cleaning your pet after a day of adventures

1. We have so many hikes available in Hunter that we know you and your pet will love! These adventures can get muddy so please make sure you wipe off your pet's paws and coat when you return to the apartment to prevent tracking mud and dirt throughout and staining the carpets and linens. We've included complimentary cleaning supplies and pet deodorant in our "doggie corner" that you can use.

Check-in times

• Earliest check-in is at 3:00PM Eastern time on the day of your reservation. We want to make sure our cleaners make our home perfect for you, so we cannot accommodate early check-ins.

• You can arrive at any time after 3:00PM Eastern time.

Parking

• You are entitled to ONE vehicle parked at any designated parking spot at Melodywood

• Do not park on the grass or rocks

Accessing the apartment

• Touch the "Yale" logo on the lock to turn on the keypad

• Enter the door code provided to you into the keypad and press the checkmark to unlock

Keypad not working

• If the keypad is not working for whatever reason, please text (732) 543-5790 for access to keys in a lock box near the apartment

• Check out before 11:00 AM

• Prior to your departure, please tidy up the condo by doing the following:

  • Remove all perishable items from the fridge

  • Take out the trash and put in dumpster on the far side of building B

  • Take out recycling and put in the recycling bins on the left side of the laundry room (directly across the parking lot from the apartment)

  • Wash and put away all used dishes

  • Strip bedsheets from ONLY the sofa bed, and place linens and towels in a pile or in the laundry basket

  • Please be sure to promptly clean up and dispose of all pet waste

  • Turn off all lights, electronics, and appliances

  • Close and lock all windows and doors

• Additional fees will be imposed if the condo is found in an unsatisfactory condition.

Entering the apartment

• Touch the Yale keypad to wake it up

• Enter the access code you've been provided and press the checkmark to unlock

• Lock will play a sound when unlocked

Leaving the apartment

• Make sure the front door is fully closed

• Touch the keypad to lock

• Lock will play a sound when locked

• Check to make sure door is locked

• Ensure storm door is fully closed! If it isn't fully closed, the wind will swing it open and damage the door.

The laundry room (located directly across parking lot) has coin-operated washer and dryers available for your use during your stay. Guest are responsible for providing their own coins, detergent and/or any laundry supplies you need. (Do not use any detergent you find in the laundry room. That is the property of other tenants in the building!)

Accessing the laundry room:

• Laundry room key is hanging on the coat hanger near the front door to unlock the laundry room

• Please be considerate of other tenants and pick up laundry in washer or dryer as soon as the wash or dry cycle is complete.

  • The laundry room is shared by all tenants of Melodywood condominiums. By leaving laundry in the washers or dryers will prevent others from using the machines.

• Place laundry room key back on the coat hanger near the front door where you found it when you're done doing laundry. $50 fee will be charged for a lost laundry key
